Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary

Visit the annual migratory stop of the Monarch butterfly. Butterflies in residence November to April in the eucalyptus grove off of Lighthouse avenue in Pacific Grove.

Point Lobos State Reserve

Just south of carmel on Highway 1, Point Lobos is a pristine stretch of coastline showcasing the natural beauty of our area. With paved access and hiking trails, you can explore the rocky coastline, high cliffs, and misty forests.
